Our passion for performance sailing and chartering has combined with our dedication to quality fabrication practices and absolute professionalism at every level of our charter and production operation. The build knowledge in our team of highly-experienced professional builders is combined with the practical experience of our team's Olympic catamaran sailing and classic yacht cruising/chartering background. All of the features to be found aboard our two yachts exhibit the company's dedication to fine craftsmanship and fit-out that is both practical and elegant. Bermuda Yachts have worked the entertainment and practical design-features into the Bermuda77 from the ground up, pushing development from day one of the design-and-engineering process. We commissioned designer Jeff Schionning in 2009 to design and engineer our hull design because of his success with small racing catamarans.
Below is a brief summary of why we think two hulls are better than one.
Technology: weight saving through advanced composite build materials, Carbon Mast,
Comfort: sailing ability that provides a smooth and level sailing platform, no heeling provides greater safety and passenger fatigue reduction, shallow draft provides options for shallow water manoeuvring and calm anchorages.
Speed: slim hulls, high bridge-deck clearance, high-reserve buoyancy for faster downwind performance, lightweight construction, modern sail systems, storm avoidance and shorter voyage duration,
Green: easily-driven hulls ensure the B77 uses minimal fossil fuels, thanks to exceptional sailing and motoring performance, solar panels, LED lighting, extensive natural lighting and ventilation.
